2004 mar 21 - i made another comic.

2003 mar 10 - i decided to change the color scheme of my website
to a color that actually looks purple.
2003 mar 01 - i've put back up a paper i wrote in college that
used to be on an old version of my website. the paper is called NP-Completeness, Cryptology, and Knapsacks.
2002 jun 18 - i have a new page about eclipses, and my home
page and obligatory links page have
been updated slightly. oh, and i finally updated the what's new page for the last few changes.
2002 may 01 - updated my FAQ with some new
questions.
2001 nov 29 - the front page now has a link to
send me email.
2001 sep 01 - my journal entries are no
longer nightly.
2000 sep 22 - created the derfnet audio/video
system page, and updated the derfnet local
network page.
2000 jul 19 - posted my puzzle, inventions of the millennium.
2000 jul 09 - added some more other
derfs.
2000 may 14 - took down my tnt
patches page, and replaced it with just a link to the new tnt
site.
2000 feb 26 - changed the front page for the
site, so it now links to the faq and whatsnew pages. also changed my homepage accordingly. plus some minor changes
updating the derfnet LAN page. and added
UPS, FedEx, and Airborne tracking search boxes on the derfnet portal.
2000 feb 1 - the derf FAQ is a new page on
my site. so far all the questions are about purple. i have a bunch
of other questions i'll be adding eventually.
2000 jan 11 - the derfnet portal now has
a search box for google's new macintosh-related search (to go with the
linux-related search they already had). i love google. also,
yesterday i changed the cnet headlines -- they used to sometimes
actually be the captions to images without which they made no sense...
2000 jan 02 - the derfnet portal now
includes a whois search form, which uses a python script i wrote. it
intelligently gets the appropriate registrar's whois server from
internic, and then performs the lookup there. also i've fixed the
imdb search to search "all" rather than just "title", so you can
search for an actor's name as well as a movie title...
1999 dec 10 - the derfnet portal now
provides headlines from MacCentral rather than from MacWEEK.
1999 dec 10 - the "what's new?" page is new.
